With a background that includes high-profile event production, writing, editing, training, and coaching, Debra Evans possesses a unique depth of experience within the fields of personal and spiritual development.
As a freelance writer, editor, and marketing consultant, Debra works with new and established authors to bring their books to completion. Recent book projects include:

Working with the Masters of Transformation
As national Director of Conference Programming for Whole Life Expositions & Conferences from 1995-2001, Debra managed 39 conferences in 11 major cities throughout the U.S. Possessing an expansive knowledge of the human potential movement, Debra designed and oversaw all aspects of the multi-platform conferences and worked with hundreds of the most beloved teachers and intrepid explorers of the past three decades, including Ram Dass, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Jean Houston, Wayne Dyer, John Bradshaw, George Leonard, Bernie Siegel, Caroline Myss, Andrew Harvey, Coleman Barks, Gabrielle Roth, Gregg Braden, Debbie Ford, David Deida, and many others.
A Queen of Written Content
It was during her years with Whole Life Expo that Debra’s copywriting skills were put to the test, writing ads, promotional copy, and more than 4,000 event descriptions and speaker bios. Writing almost every day since, Debra has extensive experience generating the following:
- website copy, newsletter content, blog posts, and articles for print
- workbooks and training manuals
- e-course and telecourse content
- scripts for promo videos and audio programs
- marketing collateral – flyers, brochures, press releases, press kits, and print ads
From 2005 – 2008, Debra served as Debbie Ford’s editorial assistant and marketing coordinator—managing Debbie’s online newsletter, HayHouseRadio.com radio show, teleseminars, teleclasses, email campaigns for new book releases, and more. In addition to her role as chief copywriter for Debbie Ford and The Ford Institute for Integrative Coaching, Debra edited two of Debbie’s books published by HarperOne, Ford Institute training manuals, and numerous workbooks for the renowned Shadow Process Workshop.
Workshop and Teleclass Immersion
As a student and staff member of the Ford Institute, Debra assisted at numerous Shadow Process Workshops and was trained as a teleclass leader, beginning with co-facilitating the Best Year of Your Life 12-Week Makeover Process in 2004.
Debra lives in Mill Valley, California where she loves to walk amongst the redwood trees and revel in the sheer Grace of it all.
